If there is still anyone who reads this blog, thank you. Let’s be honest, I have been terrible at posting on my blog over the past few months. I won’t make excuses, it’s my fault. I guess I just thought of blogging as a journal or something, which I don’t like.
My team and I are leaving for Spain this Friday for a conference in a place called Nerja. We are going to stop in Seville for a few days before the conference and then take a bus or train down to Nerja.
When I get back from Spain, I want to do a much better job at this whole blog thing. I won’t commit to a program of blogging every third day except for holidays and the extra day that come on leap year, but I will commit to doing a better job. Even as I am typing this, it sounds to me that I am setting the bar pretty low. I mean it wouldn’t take much to do better.
But I do want to try something new that I think might help motivate me to write more. I want to post not just my thoughts and pictures (which I will still do), but I want to post other things: articles, songs, movie clips to see what you think about them. For instance I just read this article titled: ”Reaching the Elusive Urban Young Adult: Postmodern Longing for Community” It was a pretty interesting look at my generation’s dislike of institutionalism and volunteerism.
I won’t say what I think (yet). If you want, give this article a go and tell me what you think. Go ahead, post a comment, I double dog dare you.
Thanks again for sticking with me.
