Faithful is Jesus, who gives us everything (including visas)

Most of you know the visa difficulties my team and I has had over the past year.  For this reason, it brings me great joy to announce that we have finally been granted religious visas!  Praise the Lord!  Thank you so much for your prayers.  What does this mean? Well, the visas are good for 365 days, so we will be able to stay in Rome through August 2008.

As the days seem to fly by, I realized that there is still much for me to do.  The biggest thing that remains on my to do list is to finish raising support.  I still have about $12,000 to raise in just under a month.  Although this amount seems great, I know that our God is greater and can provide for every need.  Would you praise the Lord with me for providing visas, and would you prayerfully consider joining my team of ministry partners by giving $50 or $100 a month? Any amount you could give would be tremendous. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Official resident of the sunshine state

As most of you know, this past year we have had a bit of difficulty attempting to apply and obtain visas in order to continue our ministry in Rome. This past week my team and I took a visa trip down to Florida to become Florida residents, meet with Campus Crusade’s legal counsel and to apply for visas at the Miami Consulate. Praise the Lord that we successfully obtained Florida residency and were able to turn in our religious worker visa applications to the consulate.

It was wonderful to see the favor the Lord gave us with the consulate. Luciano, who accepted our applications, was very positive and said we should know in about two weeks about our visas. Please pray that the Lord would continue to show us favor and that the Miami consulate would grant us visas.

On a personal note, I am still raising support for this next year and have about 40% to raise before I can report to Rome on September 4th.
