back on campus…

unknown.jpg I just wanted to give you all a short little update. So here goes. We have just begun the third week of four weeks of spring break trips and we have been busy. It has be incredible to look out over the campus and see so many people out sharing their faith. Please continue to pray that the Lord would solidify students confidence in the power of the Gospel and that the Lord would cause in the hearts of Italian students a great enlightening to the knowledge of God so that they may respond appropriately.

Buon Giorno tutti! (Good day all)

I just wanted you to know that my team and I have safely arrived in Rome and have been working hard preparing for spring break trips that will be arriving this weekend. Also, if the Lord is willing, today we will be signing for the girls apartment and moving them into it. Please continue to pray and trust the Lord for He is mighty, He is good, and He wants to provide.

PRAISE THE LORD!

SAY WHAT? So after a long visa application, we were finally promised student visas…just kidding. Well, kinda kidding… We were promised visas and later found out that the consulate rejected our application. It is nice to finally know where we stand with the process, but a little disappointing that we were promised visas and then ultimately denied. One thing of which we are confident is that the Lord is to be praised. It could be easy to look at the ups and downs of the application process and be discouraged, but we choose to: “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12)

We will be leaving on March 4th and 5th to go back to Rome. The first week back we will be applying for a 90-day tourist visa, moving the girls into a new apartment and preparing for the spring breakers that will be joining us throughout March. It will be such a busy time for us, but such a neat time to see God work in the lives of Italian students and American students.

With so much going on, we would love for you to be joining us in prayer. Let us remember: “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” (James 5:16b).

RETURN TO ROME

please pray for a smooth transition as we head back to Rome
please pray we will be able to quickly reconnect with students
please pray that we would be able to connect with new staff arriving in Rome
please pray that we would have energy as we adjust

SPRING BREAK TRIPS

please pray that God would capture the hearts of students coming over
please pray that students would meet many Italian students interested in hearing the gospel
please pray that momentum from spring break trips would carry over and Italian students
would become passionate about knowing Christ and making Him known

PERSONALLY

please pray that we would walk with the Lord as we engage in ministry, interact with each other and as we process what the Lord is teaching us
